Voting For Your Own Destruction - A Rant

 Lately I have been carrying a burden that I wish I could let go of. The burden isn't even really mine. If you have been watching this page for a while, you have probably noticed that I have been delving more and more into the political arena with my writings. This is done out of a sense of obligation rather than any actual desire to do so. I just keep seeing people make bad decisions regarding who they support and vote for without any apparent understanding of the long-term ramifications of those decisions.

Americans just participated in their mid-term elections. I will say that I am glad that I am not an American for the simple reason that they are almost always in some stage of political campaigning. At least here in Canada we get to take a break from politicians preening for votes. That is not really the case in the U.S. Maybe that's why there are bleak numbers regarding the voter turnout for the 2026 mid-term elections. I presume that numbers are still coming in from certain states, but according to themidtermproject.org, voter turnout is a meagre 26% of eligible voters averaged across all reporting states. I really hope that that tally comes up. Western democracy is at stake and people don't vote!

It's almost like people don't really care what happens to their country anymore. The opportunity that they are given to have a direct say in the direction of the nation is completely ignored by 75% of the people who have a legitimate say. Unfortunately, there is also a massive corruption machine in the U.S. voting process (maybe less so in Canada; maybe), so there is a high likelihood that there were a lot of people who shouldn't have a say in the political outcome that actually did. That is not my problem and the people of America need to fix that problem themselves, but if they keep voting the way that it appears that they did yesterday, that problem will only keep getting worse instead of better.

I am watching the political realm of national health not just in North America but in Europe as well. I have real concerns about the direction that the western world is moving. Progressives are winning too much ground. They see this as a good thing of course, but the result is the degradation of western society. Western society used to be the world symbol of strength, intelligence, advancements in science and medicine, the rule of law and peaceful ordered civilization. Is any of that true anymore?

On the world stage, western nations still hold the balance of might in regards to military advantages, but that gap is shrinking quickly. There has long been a technological advantage in the west, but as that diminishes there will be a greater value on sheer numbers of capable fighting men, and quite frankly, we are not replacing ourselves as quickly as our enemies are and we have grown soft as a civilization, largely due to our opulent lifestyles. For so long we have outsourced our protection to police and a paid military that most of our men probably couldn't defend just ourselves or our immediate family from a single violent aggressor, much less any type of coordinated attack by even a small multitude of aggressors.

I am reminded of the Bible when God is leading Israel away from Egypt towards the land that God had promised to their forefathers. God knows that there will be many battles that the Israelites will have to engage in in order to take the land, and although God assures them that he will fight for them, He also recognizes that the men of Israel have been slaves for 400 years and have no concept of how to fight in combat. I believe that there is a place in Scripture where God actually says that Israel needs to learn the aspects of war and battle, so He exposes them to dangers and threats and teaches Israel not only the arts of war but the trust in Him that is required for them to be successful.

North American and European men have largely forgotten how to fight, and have also largely forgotten God. It is obvious when one looks at the chaos on the streets of Britain, Germany and France, in particular. Those nations are being overrun by Muslim invaders. They come in unarmed and looking nonthreatening, bringing nothing with them, but when are in the country, which is easy enough to achieve, they coalesce into cliques and begin to commit crimes to finance themselves and then they begin to assert dominance over first the women and then over the men who refuse to defend their women. I have never understood, in the case of Britain, why the men are not going out on their fishing boats to the middle of the channel and sinking the rubber boats that bring 20, 50, 100 foreign men at a time to their shores. It would be such an easy thing to stop the invaders and nobody is doing anything about it, least of all the government whose "job" it actually is. Seeing the failures of their governments, why are the men not acting?

And make no mistake about it, we are travelling the same path in North America. God has blessed us with monetary wealth and resources and knowledge as well as huge water barriers to separate us from the Muslim and Hindu invaders, but our own governments have been letting them come into our nations in waves, giving them tax payer money in the name of humanitarianism. Most of them contribute nothing to the country and instead eschew our culture and refuse to assimilate. This is the same type of invasion that is initiating the downfall of Europe. Europe is on the cusp of defeat and they haven't yet raised a hand against their invaders. This is the result of progressive ideals of cultural universalism wherein it is believed that all peoples and all cultures are the same and of equal value.

Here's a news flash for you; that was not how God saw things in the Old Testament, that is not how our ancestors saw things and that is not how our enemies see things. The western world is ripe to be invaded and plundered, and that is exactly what is happening right now, but people are too daft to see it. Furthermore, people keep voting for those who are responsible for the level of loss that we have already experienced and who will just perpetuate the problem with the same and even more progressive policies.

We have just seen the American legislative system swing back to the left in the mid-terms. Why?? Is the memory of the people so short? My wife told me about it this morning and she proclaimed some incredulity at the fact that Texas, of all places, has turned blue. I told her that that is neither surprising or unexpected; the only issue was the timing of it.

People have been fleeing Democrat states for several years already, and they fled to Republican states because they were better run. But they have failed to recognize that their own voting habits caused the chaos that they fled, so they continue to vote the way they always have and they cause their new home to become just like the one that they fled. Additionally, progressive policies have increasingly been adopted by those who seek re-election. As a result, the conservative base has been undermined by those seeking to broaden their appeal.

I am carrying a burden of knowledge. I see what our corrupt Liberal government is doing in Canada. I have seen what the corrupt Democrats have done and seek to continue doing in the U.S. I am watching what corrupt globalist leaders are doing in Europe. And right now, I am watching the Liberal government of Canada working to wedge Canada into the armpit of the European Union, even though this has never yet even been discussed in Parliament and even though a large part of  Canada is dead set against it. But Carney doesn't care; he has an agenda to fulfill.

I do what I can on this page, but my voice is small and unpopular. My reach is limited and the movement that I have set myself against is large, well funded and well placed with government and media backing. I am also trying to yell to a mass of people who are too distracted to pay attention as their country is being sold out from under them.

I have prayed about this so many times. I keep coming to the understanding that this has to happen. I don't receive any assurances that things will be okay. I don't hear God tell me that this will turn out for good for Canada. There is just an ominous sense that prophecy is being fulfilled; that the end in inevitable.

That doesn't mean that I will stop yelling and fighting. I believe that we are barrelling at full speed into the end times beast system. There is a systematic dismantling of the systems that our parents and grandparents enjoyed living under. Systems that offered peace and prosperity, where honour existed in the legislative and judicial systems. Somehow those things have disappeared and people seem to be oblivious to it.

People have a tendency towards a normalcy bias. This means that they tend to disbelieve or to minimalize threat warnings. For this reason, they cannot fathom that there could be people who are working together at the very pinnacle of governments whose goals include destroying the economies and populations of nations in order to take control of them, with these people holding power over the masses. Since they are banded together, they can rely on each other to craft legislation that sounds progressive and forward moving, but which are, in fact, tyrannical in design and intent. This is what I believe is happening with Mark Carney's moves to Europe.

If you wonder what I base this belief on, it is quite simply the Bible. We know that there is a god of this world, Satan, who wishes to destroy humanity for the simple reason that God loves humanity above all the rest of His creation. We know that the devil has spent millennia putting pieces in place to achieve his goals, but we also know that God is ultimately in control and that nothing happens without His approval.

Something else that we know is that when people turn to God in the midst of their suffering and repent of their ways, God is willing to forgive and save them from the consequences of their own actions.

I am afraid that we are almost at the point of no return this time. The nations are not repentant. The people are even more intolerant of Christians than ever before. Everything is acceptable to the progressive except Christian beliefs. As such, everything that is abhorrent to Christians is being foisted upon society as an affront to Christians, and more importantly, as an affront to God.

It is my fear that we are on the cusp of a time when God will choose to no longer intervene for the sake of any nation (other than Israel), and will instead only intervene for the sake of those who are truly living for Him, protecting and providing for them as only He can.

If you know Scripture, you also know that the coming beast system will overcome christians, but I wonder if it will not overcome Christians. God has the ultimate say on who dies, when and under what circumstances. You should also know that there will be Believers in the very end. We don't know exactly what they will have gone through to make it that far. Some may be protected throughout the final days while others may end up constantly fleeing persecution.

As I stated earlier, my burden is knowledge. I know what is happening and I can even lay out some of the bigger steps towards the final outcome, but because my claims seem ludicrous, otherwise intelligent people shake their head at me and mock me. There will come a time when the truth becomes evident to everyone, but it will be far too late by then. When that time comes, salvation will only be found in faith in Jesus Christ. Those who claim Him now but have no foundation of faith to get them through the hard times will suffer. Some will make it; others will not.

The end is inevitable. Maybe we can still delay it by national repentance. I think Europe is lost. If Canadians and Americans don't start voting with intelligence we won't be far behind. The solution is not political, but the consequences are. Ecclesiastes 10:2 tells us that, "A wise man’s heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man’s heart directs him toward the left." Keep this in mind as we continue to move through history towards the prophesied end.
