The Spiritual Realm is Real and Active - Observations About Angels and How God Uses Them

Image
I want to try to wrap up the series about the spiritual realm with this article. I have been writing about this topic for over a month now and while there has been a lot of material to cover, I think it is high time that this gets wrapped up. In this article, I want to share some things that I have learned about God's angels and how He uses them. I don't expect this article to be particularly long. It is based largely upon things that I have been told by people whom I have consulted with on spiritual matters, including some who see into the spiritual realm. We don't always understand what we are shown by God, so there are some speculative conversations that have happened around what people have told me that they have seen as we have tried to make sense of these things. So please, do not take what you are about to read as any type of theology. First off, I will start with my understanding that true Christians have an angelic presence with them everywhere they go and at a...

The Spiritual Realm is Real and Active - Angels

I guess the next step in the examination of the spiritual realm is to study angels. This will not be a very long article. I would rather offer less information on angels than offer potentially incorrect or misleading information on angels. One significant reason for this is because when one tries to research angels, one finds a lot of information that is not Biblically based. Angels hold a certain interest to people, even if they do not proclaim a faith, or even a belief in God. The duplicity of believing in angels while at the same time denying the existence of God seems to slip by these people unnoticed, but I find that hypocrisy and duplicity in beliefs is common among those who do not have a solid foundation of truth for their ideologies.. Due to the human interest in angels outside of the realm of Biblical theology, there is a lot of misinformation out there. I spent some time a while ago looking into the different types of angels and their responsibilities, but quite ...

The Spiritual Realm is Real and Active - Basics of Spiritual Beings

Image
There is apparently an appetite for information regarding the spiritual realm that is active all around us judging by the amount of traffic that my last article has received. As I mentioned in that article, I am somewhat hesitant to delve into the topic of the spiritual realm because it will be very easy for me to write something in such a way as to unintentionally mislead someone if I am not exceedingly clear about what I am saying, and I do not want anyone to stray into a pursuit of the unseen as a result of my words. In general, I would say that even though we are surrounded by a spiritual realm, we are not to seek to engage with it other than to seek the council and the leading of the Holy Spirit, but if you are not familiar with the Holy Spirit, there is a possibility that you may open yourself up to being mislead by a fraudulent spirit. Because of this danger, I will probably take things very slowly in my articles, covering only one or two topics at a time instead of...

Christophany - Christ Among Us Before He Came As Messiah

Image
Throughout the Scriptures we see God interacting with His creation in different ways. He talks with them, does acts and wonders on their behalf and He sometimes shows Himself to them. Some years ago I was introduced to a word that has caused me to more closely examine these appearances of God with His people, because the theory behind this word opens up the relationship of the members of the Trinity of God to our better understanding. This word is Christophany, and it refers to a physical appearing of Jesus the Son of God prior to His incarnation at what we refer to as His first coming, which we will see isn't really His first coming. I recently wrote about Balaam's life, but for the sake of time, I really glazed over Balaam's journey to see Balak and what happened on that journey. This is where the donkey saved Balaam's life three times, but Balaam was not aware of why his donkey was acting so strangely, the reason for which leads us into the study of Christophanies....
