   I came to a realization this morning, which I will get to shortly. I have often shared a story with people that I know that demonstrates how people need to be taught what many of us may think of as a basic skill of survival. I may or may not have already written this story on this blog previously, and I'm not about to share it now as it is merely a parallel situation to what I am writing about today, but this story is about maintaining basic cleanliness and how it is not an ingrained human trait, but rather, something that has to be taught. I have been witnessing and observing the methods and results of a style of parenting that is referred to as "gentle parenting". According to a summary of an article by Cleveland Clinic, "The goal of gentle parenting is to raise confident, independent and happy children through empathy, respect and understanding, and setting healthy boundaries. This parenting style focuses largely on age-appropriate development." This method of parenting is contrasted with traditional parenting with a "focus on punishment and reward." I was raised traditionally. As were my siblings. We all turned out well. We are all functioning members of society with friend groups and social circles. We all avoided the teenage and young adult traps of cigarettes, drugs, alcohol and sex. And most importantly, we all loved our parents and had good relationships with them. In my latest article , I brought to your attention the ways in which our scientists, bureaucrats and the government in general are messing around and playing God with our meat supply. I am not at all interested in eating Frankenmeat, and the fact that the governing bodies seem to think that it's okay to place this meat product on store shelves without specific labelling to differentiate it from naturally bred and grown meat is beyond acceptable. But as I pointed out, this is all likely an effort to slowly introduce us to alternate meat sources without causing us to revolt against them. At the end of that article I mentioned that there is something that you can do to protect yourself from these fake foods in situations where you may not have any control over what is served to you, be that at a friend's house or a restaurant.  This weekend my family engaged in spiritual warfare for each other as we interceded for each other to rid ourselves of the demonic attachments that have accumulated over the course of the last year. I have written an article on this type of intercessory battle which you can read here , which goes into the nature and the process by which you can engage in this type of warfare. This article that you are reading now is just going to be a short one outlining a couple of things that I think I am beginning to figure out and understand about intercessory spiritual battle.                                                           There is a concerning increase in the levels of mental health issues in the world today, and a large amount of those who are affected by this are our youth, adolescents and even our young adults. Now I am of the belief that continuously talking about a subject is not the way to curb its prevalence. In fact, I believe that it has the exact opposite effect. For example, if the left would stop continuously pushing the rhetoric that there is systemic racism in the west and convincing so many minorities that they are victims, then I am all but convinced that the 'scourge of racism' would not exist today, except in certain places where it is actually a cultural problem; yes, these places do still exist, but the issue is far less prevalent than the left would hav...

  We live in a fallen and confused world. I am bewildered over and over again as I watch the ways in which mankind gets turned around in their thinking. Religious confusion is not necessarily one of those areas that troubles me; mankind has been looking for something outside of themselves all the way back to Adam and Eve, and it is inevitable that not everyone is going to find the one true path. I suppose that the fact that people find alternative paths to 'enlightenment' is the root of much of the confusion that we see in the world today. In Romans 1:18-32, Paul tells us of what happens to men when we fail to recognize God as the Head of everything.      I have spent quite a bit of time and energy over the last month going into some specifics about the spiritual realm as far as I understand them. I do not claim to be an expert on these things, but I have learned a lot from others who have different giftings that allow them to better understand things of a spiritual nature or who have more experience in these things. My writings on the spiritual realm have revolved significantly around the things that those people have taught me as well as what Scripture tells us. The Bible does not go into specifics when it tells us about the spiritual realm; I believe that the purpose for this is to make us aware of the spiritual realm and the general nature of it while also trying to avoid encouraging us to explore it for ourselves.
