 I am going to be completely honest with you, this article is not what I originally wrote on this topic. When I wrote my first version of this article, I felt like I was writing under inspiration and it flowed out of me with fluidity. Unfortunately, thanks to the wonders of electronic writing, that article got lost to the black pit of the ether. While trying to recreate that which once was, I have felt like I have been writing under obligation rather than inspiration. That first article was so much better than this one.    I want to delve into a heavy topic today.                                                           There is a concerning increase in the levels of mental health issues in the world today, and a large amount of those who are affected by this are our youth, adolescents and even our young adults. Now I am of the belief that continuously talking about a subject is not the way to curb its prevalence. In fact, I believe that it has the exact opposite effect. For example, if the left would stop continuously pushing the rhetoric that there is systemic racism in the west and convincing so many minorities that they are victims, then I am all but convinced that the 'scourge of racism' would not exist today, except in certain places where it is actually a cultural problem; yes, these places do still exist, but the issue is far less prevalent than the left would hav...

  I have developed a very strong aversion to new technologies. Keep in mind that I have lived my life in the age wherein computers have gone from a novelty item that people didn't understand or see the value in having, to a time when most people carry more computing power in their pocket or purse than what was used to initially launch the entire NASA space program. And I have used a lot of this technology over the years for personal and business purposes as well as for entertainment purposes. But things have taken a turn as of late.
