  It seems like the entire first world is preoccupied with reducing the 'carbon footprint' of the people who live in it; or at least the leaders who live extravagantly and who jet-set around the world in pursuit of this are preoccupied with reducing the footprint of the people who can least afford it. The truth is that the preoccupation with the earth is a form of religious worship, though few would agree with that statement, but please, hear me out. As Christians, is it not our belief that God is in charge of everything that happens? Is it not our belief that God designed this wonderful world for us to live in and enjoy, and that He designed it for all eras and for all people? I think that it is pompous to think that mankind can have any effect on the climate of this planet simply through the consumption of meat, for example. Canadian politics is currently a mess of political spin by the government and media parroting of the talking points. The current Liberal government, which is an almost exact replica of the Trudeau Liberal government, has run the economy of Canada into the ground over the last eleven years. We live in a nation where our strongest asset is our natural resources, but the Liberal mindset is to leave those resources in the ground forever. We do not have a strong manufacturing base in Canada, nor do we have much in the way of innovation; at least not like we used to.  All of the manufacturing companies and innovating businesses have been leaving Canada in favour of other places where their efforts are better rewarded. On top of this the agricultural industry is getting pounded with extra costs largely due to the push to keep our resources in the ground and to tax whatever is extracted into oblivion, driving up the costs to produce our food. There is yet another dangerous bill that the Liberal government has proposed to Parliament. They tend to write their bills in a way that sounds like it is something that every Canadian could and should get behind, but there tends to be a poison pill or some hidden agenda that is sought to be advanced in their bills. The bill that I am talking about this time is Bill C-9; the Bill to Combat Hatred. I will keep my commentary on this short as I have included in this article the text of a letter that I will be sending to the Senate members. This bill has already moved from the House of Parliament to the Senate for their perusal. This bill was forced through Committee and Parliament by the Liberals with decreased scrutiny through legislative methods, and we are in a situation where we are now relying on the House of sober second thought to examine this bill and either amend the dangers out of it or kill it outright.    It hasn't even been a year since our latest federal election in Canada, and Mark Carney has managed to all but ensure that he will gain the majority that Canadian voters denied him. He has not done so by earning the trust of the Canadian electorate; he has done so by the use of shady backroom deals to bribe weak members of other parties, elected by those who trusted them to have integrity, to join his own low integrity Liberals as floor crossers. The wheeler-dealer, self-identified global elite banker turned politician and, somehow, top statesman has taken the initiative to manufacture the authority to act almost unilaterally, as the Prime Minister is empowered to do so, and somehow people are surprised.    There is a BIG story in Canada right now about a school shooter in northern British Columbia (B.C.). There are not a lot of mass shootings in Canada, so when one happens, and it happens at a school, it is big news. But the coverage of this has been anything but honest.   I was first hearing about this shooting last night, as my wife fed me tidbits as she found them. What my wife was telling me, in the approximate order that I heard it, was that there was a shooting in B.C., it was at a school, the suspected shooter was a "female in a dress with brown hair", 10 dead, 25 injured, the shooter killed themselves. As soon as I heard that phrase, "female in a dress with brown hair", I said to my wife that women don't do mass shootings; that shooter is a transgender.
