The Battle Against Fear - A Call to Arms

 We have all seen what fear can do when a person or a population is gripped by it. We don't even have to look far into our past to see it's effects. Just look back to 2020 and onward, to the thing that shall not be named, and see how the fear of a flu bug shut down entire countries around the world, growing the poverty levels across the developed world and indicating to governments how easy it is to manipulate the population if fear is the motivating factor.

Fast forward to today and we see that the grip of fear has not released its grip on the world. In fact, fear is the basis of virtually every crisis that we are seeing right now. The big story coming out of America right now is the backlash that the ICE agents are facing in Minnesota, and interviews with the protesters on the ground indicate that they are acting in fear of a "tyrannical government" or that American citizens are being deported illegally.

I believe that there are political forces pulling the strings behind the unrest, but the tool that they are using to cause the people to rise up is fear. The average person does not pay enough attention to the political landscape to understand the forces at play here, but they are easily manipulated into reacting based on fear that is perpetuated by media coverage.

Looking closer to home, we see the same tactics at play in Canadian politics. It was around 14 months ago that what had been, up to that point, arguably the worst Prime Minister in the history of the country, finally conceded that he would not be able to hold the Conservatives off if his government fell, so a scheme was devised to dupe the electorate into still supporting the governing Party, just under a new leader. Make no mistake, Trudeau's placement was intentional as was the damage that he did to Canada. A Conservative government at that time would have done immense damage to the gains made over the precious nine years, so a backup plan had to be hatched. 

The election that the populace wanted was delayed via Parliamentary manoeuvring, and a leadership contest that was stacked against all candidates except for the 'chosen one', was initiated. The 'chosen one' was crowned as the new Prime Minister and then the populace was cowed into voting for the same old party with a new clown at the head of it by using the old tactic of fear.

The fear was based on the "Orange Man bad" narrative that has been in use in the U.S. for the last twelve years. Donald Trump is the enemy of all level headed, thinking and compassionate people; at least that is the tripe that has been fed to the masses and that has been gobbled up by the uninformed and the misinformed. Unfortunately, even though there is a wealth of information available to the masses today, if you are not careful about what sources you trust, the information that you are ingesting is more likely to intentionally misinform and disinform you than it will actually inform you.

In the latest federal election in Canada, Donald Trump was presented to Canadians as the bogey man; the only thing that Canadians had to fear was that Trump was going to invade or otherwise take over Canada. The fear of this was beaten into the electorate so completely that the failed logic of the premise was completely lost on at least half of the country. The failures and scandals (so many scandals) of the Liberal government that had held the reins of the country over the previous nine years were lost in the sea of fear that was created, stirred up, manipulated and propagandized through the media, at the behest of the preferred Liberal government. 

To increase the fear, the narrative was also pushed that the Conservatives, under Pierre Poillievre, were just like the Trump Republicans. They were called "Maple Maga" in order to paint conservatives as the enemy of the country. The vitriol that has been aimed at conservatives and Conservatives has never before reached the pitch that it has now achieved.

The country was told that Mark Carney was the saviour that Canada needed. That only he could tame the beast that was the Republican President to the south. We were told that Carney had the wisdom and the experience to be able to deal with Trump and get Canada a good trade deal and fend off the invading hordes of American brutes.

Yet what do we have after about nine months of a Mark Carney Liberal government? Not only do we not have a good trade deal, we have no trade deal. Virtually every other country that has pursued trade with the U.S. has managed to get a deal; but not Canada. Not only do we have no trade deal, the administrations are not even talking to each other about our trade disagreement. Not only do we not have any relief from the Trump tariffs nor any ongoing negotiations, we are approaching the end of our previously negotiated CUSMA/USMCA trade agreement and the cold shoulder is still being directed at Canada. And this is the root of the fear that the Liberals are still trading on.

There is a lot of speculation that Canada will have yet another election this spring. Mark Carney needs a majority in order to do what he wants to do to Canada; not "for" Canada, "to" Canada. This minority Parliament is cramping his style, so he has to make verbal concessions to Canadians to make it seem like he is doing what is good for Canada, but he has accomplished almost nothing. His government has passed only one bill in the entire previous Parliamentary session, and that bill had to have a truckload of hidden control measures removed in committee before the opposition Conservatives would support it.

Carney has memoranda of understanding laying out frameworks for numerous agreements, but none of these memoranda are legally binding, so if Carney gets his majority, he can just ignore all of them and change course to what he wants to do. In the meantime, he continues to use fear to manipulate the people of Canada into continuing to support him and the failed Liberal policies that got us here in the first place; and it's working.

I want to show you some of the language from some of the addresses that Mark Carney has presented to Canadians over just the last week or so. All of the following quotes are taken from releases from the government that I found on the Prime Minister's website. You can check these quotes for yourself. 

 

Note the fear invoking language that he uses to introduce his solutions to Canada's problems:

  - From January 29th, Statement by Prime Minister Carney on the National Day of Remembrance of        the Québec City Mosque Attack and Action against Islamophobia: "The government is taking                decisive action to address the horrifying rise in hate and hate-motivated crimes in our communities"

  - From January 29th, First Ministers’ Joint Statement, as released by the Prime Minister's Office:            "First Ministers discussed the ongoing geopolitical situation, reiterating Canada’s unwavering                 commitment to democracy and the rule of law. They affirmed that Canada stands with its NATO             Allies and remains united in protecting Canada’s sovereignty"

  - From February 5th, Prime Minister Carney launches new strategy to transform Canada’s auto                 industry: "The world is changing rapidly, fundamentally reshaping trade relationships and leaving         economies, businesses, and workers under a cloud of uncertainty."

 

This hasn't just started recently; we can see this type of fear inducing language in use earlier in the previous Parliamentary session. In the Budget 2025 documentation from November 4, we see a lot of fear inducing language. Following are just some snippets:

  - "The global economy is undergoing a profound transformation."

  - "a fundamental shift is now underway"

  - "Major global events—from financial crises and pandemics to de-industrialisation and rising                 geopolitical tensions—have challenged long-standing institutions and the rules-based international         system." 

  - "This evolving global context is creating significant uncertainties"

 

These above snippets are all found in just the first five paragraphs of this year's budget documents! The entire document is written to instill fear of the future in the people, and then to paint the Liberals as the only solution, which includes saddling Canadians with even more debt and deficit spending which were the final nail in Trudeau's coffin. Yet Carney gets away with it.

 

If we look at the Throne Speech, as delivered by the King this year, but as written by the Prime Minister's Office, we saw more of the same:

  - "While the world faces unprecedented challenges, generating uncertainties across the continents with     regards to peace and stability, economics, and climate change" 

  -"the Second World War remained a fresh, painful memory. The Cold War was intensifying. Freedom     and democracy were under threat." (drawing on the fears of 1957, when Queen Elizabeth opened            Parliament, and setting the stage for current fears.)

  - "Today, Canada faces another critical moment. Democracy, pluralism, the rule of law, self-                    determination, and freedom" - all apparently under threat

  - "We must be clear-eyed: the world is a more dangerous and uncertain place than at any point since         the Second World War. Canada is facing challenges that are unprecedented in our lifetimes."

 

I stopped grabbing quotes about a quarter of the way into the speech. Do you see the messages of fear that this government is pounding into the collective psyche of the Canadian people? This government rules under the ever-present threat of things to fear, but if it weren't for the press releases of this government and the media trumpeting of these releases, the fear would naturally abate and Canadians could make clear headed decisions about their own lives. This constant battery of fear inducing phrases is frightening the population into conceding our own independence to the government. We are giving up our own license to control our own future because of the Spirit of Fear that has settled over this country.

On top of the words that are designed to cause fear, there are the tangible fears that the people are feeling. Joblessness is increasing, as are the costs of housing and food and energy. These are not due to global forces as the Liberals are trying to tell us. These are the results of the Liberal policies of the last ten years, and a significant number of these policies were delivered to Justin Trudeau by the man who was his unofficial advisor since 2020; that man was Mark Carney.

Mark Carney had his hand in designing the circumstances that Canada now lives under. He first put his policies to work in Britain as the Governor of the Bank of England, and he learned how those policies worked and how they did not work. Just take a look at the economy of Britain; it's even worse than ours! He has now come to Canada with a better understanding of his own failures in achieving his goals of destroying economies, and we gave him the keys to the Prime Minister's office. When Justin Trudeau was on the verge of defeat, Mark Carney saw that he had to step in to fulfill his plans. The media machine was all too eager to support the Liberal cash cow and to help install Carney as not only the Liberal leader, but also as the Prime Minister.

The entire last election, Pierre Poillievre could not get an honest depiction from the media. The media constantly fed the Liberal talking points about how Pierre is mean, or angry (those points are still being fed to the people and they are eating it up), and how Pierre will be just like Trump if he becomes Prime Minister. The Liberals dominated the airwaves due to liberal media bias, so only those who sought out online information got to see the real Pierre; the man who just got 87.4% support of the Conservative Party to remain as the leader, breaking the previous record. The message has to get out to the people, but a message of hope is drowned out by the message of fear that the Liberals and the media have found out will keep the people grovelling at the feet of government and begging for more handouts paid for by our ever increasing tax burden.

This vicious cycle needs to stop!!

It was just this morning that this came together for me and I understood what we need to do. It is high time that Christian Canadians go to battle against this Spirit of Fear that has gripped our nation ever since 2020. We have lived in fear of an ever-changing enemy for too long, and this fear has warped the thought processes of too many Canadians and has left us vulnerable to manipulation. We are at a point in time when most Canadians probably can't remember a time when they did not live in fear. We have been immersed in fear of one thing or another for the last six years!

So I have a suggested battle plan to free Canada from fear and the manipulation that comes with it. It is very simple to enact, but it will take courage and consistency; consistency is the key. This battle plan is based on the battle plan that I laid out in my article called "Protection of the Home and Property in the Spiritual Realm", which is nearly the last article of an entire series on the Spiritual Realm, which begins with this article. I have already begun to implement this plan, but if we have committed buy-in from Believers across this country, we can accomplish a victory in the spirit realm that I am confident can release this country from the future that I see coming for us. 

There is a psychological battle underway in Canada, and the citizens are the target. We are seeing suggestions from the Liberal Party that not only are things looking good in Canada, but that things have never been better. This is right out of George Orwell's "1984" playbook and it has its own phrase in that book; doublethink. Part of this is the idea that government propaganda is telling you that what you are seeing with your own eyes is not true, but that the message of the government is true. Our young people are receiving messages that home ownership is not worthy of pursuit, that work does not pay, that the businesses are evil and that the government is there to take care of us. We are being told that food prices are not continually rising and that inflation is under control. We have been told that the economy is strong, yet at the same time, we are told that the economy is weak. According to decades old metrics, Canada has been in a recession since before 'the thing' in 2020, yet we are only now hearing reports that the economy has retracted over the last two quarters and a recession is on the horizon. 

The truth does not match the propaganda, but the people are too propagandized and fearful to see the truth. In order to break through the propaganda, we need to first break through the fear. This is not only or even primarily a natural issue; this is a supernatural issue. We need to break the hold that the Spirit of Fear has on this country, and the only way to do that is to engage in intentional and targeted spiritual warfare.

My suggested battle plan is this; spirit-filled Believers need to engage the Spirit of Fear wherever we are on a regular basis. As I mentioned, this is based on the spiritual warfare tactics that I laid out for protecting your home and your property. Obviously, we cannot walk the perimeter of Canada, but we can battle from right where we are.

I learned something new this year while battling for my family in the spiritual realm. It was brought to my attention that there was a large and powerful demon that had set himself against my family. I had dealt with this demon in the past, but this time he seemed to be larger and more intent on staying, so I needed to use a new tactic. That tactic came to me from the Bible, specifically Jude 1:9, in which we read, "But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”" I had to rebuke the demon multiple times, but each time that he was rebuked, he was weakened is his resolve and ability to stay. My repeated rebukes in the Name of Jesus was what it took to bind and cast away that demon. My suggestion is that we, as a nation of Believers, do this to the spirit named "Fear".

I choose to engage in battle against demons that are outside my home when I am also outside, but that is merely a personal preference. This is partly based on the fact that I do not want to make a show of the battle, but I merely want to engage in the battle in such a way that I do not draw attention to myself. So whenever I go outside, I will speak a rebuke in Jesus' Name against specifically the demon of fear. If I am alone in doing this, I am confident that God will weaken the grip that this demon has on our nation, but if other Believers will join with me in this, at all different times from all different places, we can defeat this spirit and set Canada free from it's grip.

We can remove the influence that fear has on the critical thinking skills of Canadians and they will begin to see the truth behind the lies of this government. They will see that fear is the tactic of the enemy of this country, and they will hopefully recognize that the one who is wielding this fear as his tool is also the enemy of this country, and not it's saviour.

Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of Canada, and it is by His Name that Canada will be freed from the plans of the devil.

This is not just for Canada. Other nations around the world are being manipulated by their governments using this same tactic of fear-mongering. I encourage all of my readers to stand up and fight against the spirits of fear that are overshadowing so many of our democracies around the world. Take back your country one rebuke at a time and restore freedom to the various democracies around the world. This is a global battle as well as a national one, so I encourage you to engage in the battle for the sake of your children and your grandchildren.

The act is simple. Speak words along the lines of "In the powerful Name of Jesus, I rebuke the spirit of fear that is at work in (your country)." You can follow up with repeating "I rebuke you in Jesus Name; I rebuke you! I rebuke you! I rebuke you!" Every repetition is another blow against the stronghold of fear that has gripped us.

These words have to be spoken out loud to be effective, because demons cannot read our thoughts, but these words do not need to be screamed to be effective. You can scream your defiance if you want to, but you can also just speak them quietly. You can speak them in a crowd in a way that nobody will even hear you, and the words will be effective.

This is not a chant. This is not an incantation. This is not witchcraft. The specific words that you use are not important, but you must proclaim your demand in the Name of Jesus, because it is by His power that the enemy is defeated. And I believe that the word "rebuke" is also important. That word carries a power in combination with Jesus Name that even the angels know is effective in the battle. Jude tells us that even Michael the archangel uses this as a weapon against the devil himself. When we have access to a weapon that an archangel uses against the devil himself, we are foolish if we do not use it as well. 

So let's join together in battle for Canada. It is my concern that if the Liberal Party is not removed from leadership at the next opportunity, Canadians will find ourselves in a life of poverty and government servitude that we do not want, but for which we will have voted. Mark Carney will not tell us his true plans. He is trying to deceive conservatives to vote for him by offering empty, conservative sounding platitudes and half actions. He will do anything to get the majority that he needs to accomplish his desired destruction of this country. We've already seen that his efforts have included undermining the very democracy that he claims to defend while he enticed weak Conservatives who do not understand the danger that he presents to join him. The tools of man; our media and our communications, have been commandeered against us, so we must fight using the weapons of the spirit, against which no human tools can withstand.
