Liberal Bill C-9 - The Bid to Take Away Canadians' Freedom of Religious Thought and Speech
There are too many Canadians that do not understand the times in which we are currently living, particularly in regards to the political climate. There was a time, not too long ago, when the people who ran for political office understood that they were applying to be a public servant, and these people were generally of more noble character and sought to actually make this country better and to try to do their best to protect and help the citizens that they represented. To a certain degree, some of this still exists, but unfortunately, particularly in the federal political sphere, it appears that too many of our elected representatives seem to be in it for themselves or their own ideology.
I have lamented in the past that people are too busy and the media is too biased for the population to be able to understand what is happening in federal politics anymore, but it is more important now than ever before for people to be paying attention to what is happening. The Liberals have been trying to implement what they say is a bill to combat online hate in Canada, but what this bill originally did in the last parliament where it died the painful death that it deserved, was to increase the government's ability to monitor and censor online content. This bill has been resurrected in the current session of Parliament with the same hidden intention, but this time it has a twist.
The Liberals know that this bill is a poison pill for Canadians and that it has almost no chance of support from the opposition parties in our minority government situation. But the most failed Cabinet Member of the Liberal government, Sean Fraser, has apparently found a way around this problem; he has struck a deal with the Bloc Quebecois for support for this bill.
If anyone has been paying attention to the actions of the Bloc in Quebec over the last decade or so, they have been taking steps within Quebec to make the display of religious symbols illegal. It is already illegal for public employees to display any religious symbol on their person in the workplace. Muslim women are not allowed to wear a hijab or head covering, Jews are not allowed to display a Star of David pendant and Christians are not allowed to display a cross, etc. It appears to be the goal of the Bloc to make Quebec a completely secularized province, which I find a little strange and ironic since the French culture centres largely around the Roman Catholic Church. I know that in Europe, the Roman Catholic Cathedrals are largely empty every day of the year other than Christmas and Easter, but supposedly the religious heritage is still somewhat important over there. I suppose that is not the case on this side of the pond, because I have not seen much backlash against the Bloc for their efforts at secularizing society.
Now the Bloc have found a way to push their secularization outside of Quebec. In a deal that Sean Fraser's office has apparently made with the Bloc Quebecois outside of the knowledge of Kommandant Mark Carney, the walking catastrophe that is Sean Fraser has garnered Bloc support for bill C-9 as long as the provision of the Criminal Code that includes religious protections for speech gets removed from the Criminal Code.
If you're wondering why you haven't heard about this before now, the answer to that is very simple; the legacy media is not reporting on it. We are looking at an attempt by the sitting government to remove a Constitutionally protected right and the media is silent. Just try entering "bill C-9" into your search bar and see what comes up. I've done it. There is no current coverage by the legacy media. The last legacy media articles that I found in the first two pages of the search results are in regards to the fact that the deal was made without the Kommandant's authorization. There is nothing about the steps that the government is taking to force this through committee and the House, and there is not warning about the loss of religious freedoms that this bill contains.
On Youtube, you will find a political channel called Northern Perspective that does an excellent job of calling to attention the things that are happening in the federal political sphere and they also explain the procedures of how things are done in Parliament. They have put out a video of a recent committee meeting wherein this very bill is being discussed, and it is eye opening to watch the corruption of the Chair of the committee, a Liberal MP, as he blatantly disregards the rules of procedure in order to stifle the dissent of the Conservative caucus as they try to push back against this bill. In this video, they also explain what the Liberals and the Bloc are attempting to accomplish better than I can do in this article. I strongly encourage you to watch this video and share it.
The video is over an hour long, but they are showing us what happened in a recent eight hour long committee meeting on this bill. The Committee is made up of four Liberals, one Bloc, four Conservatives and the Liberal Chair. If you are not familiar with how Parliamentary Committees work, this means that the Conservative votes are outnumbered by the supporters of this bill four to six (including the Chair who acts as a tie-breaker when necessary), which means that the ideology behind this bill will pass through committee unaltered since the Liberals have Bloc support for it, but the Conservatives recognize the dangers of this bill and showed up in force at the meeting, with as many as 14 Conservative MP's sitting in on the meeting to voice their concerns about this bill. Unfortunately, only the four Conservative MP's on the Committee have a vote, but the effort is being exerted by the Conservatives to try to sway hearts and minds against this blatant attack on the rights of all religious Canadians. If the NDP hadn't collapsed at the last election, they would have retained party status and could have had a seat at committee too, so the Conservatives may have had backup and enough votes to stop this bill from passing committee, but that is not the current state of affairs.
What people also don't know is that there have been numerous witnesses that have signed up to oppose this bill in committee, but the Liberals have been playing games to cancel the committee's scheduled meetings when these witnesses have travelled to Ottawa to speak against the bill. These witnesses cannot afford to just sit around in a distant city, waiting for the Liberals to stop playing their games, so their opposition is silenced by these tactics. This is corruption at it's peak, and the Liberals have played these games before with other bills and other issues, such as domestic violence. They won't stop until the electorate makes them stop.
This is a matter of utmost importance, yet the vast majority of Canadians are completely unaware of the undermining and removal of our rights that is currently underway. This affects every single religion, not just Christianity, Judaism and Islam. This action will open the door to legal prosecution for anyone who reads, quotes or otherwise espouses religious views that are deemed by the government to amount to hatred towards others. If this bill passes, we will see a future where pastors, rabbis and imams are imprisoned for teaching from their respective religious texts. And his bill, like so many other Liberal bills over the last ten years, is rife with broad definitions that leave it's interpretation open to abuse by the authorities; which is exactly what they want.
This is an issue that Canadians need to know about and stand up against. This will be the first step towards the complete secularization of Canadian society, a step towards socialism that will not be able to undone without an armed insurrection. You may think that I am exaggerating, but this is how Nazism and Stalinism started; these are moves to enact socialism, which always leads to communism, and this is being perpetrated by the Liberal Party of Canada and supported by the Bloc Quebecois.
This is what has been happening in Britain over the last couple of decades, and keep in mind that Mark Carney was the Governor of the Bank of England there when their economic policies were turning in the same ways that the Trudeau government turned Canada's economic policies under the direction of Mark Carney ever since 2020 when Mark Carney became an unofficial advisor to Justin Trudeau. Now Carney had gained the very reins of power in Canada and it is his goal to do to Canada what he already had a hand in doing to Britain. Right now, British citizens are getting arrested for posting "offensive" words on social media at a rate of 30 per day! They are getting harsher penalties than actual rapists in Britain! This dystopia is coming to Canada thanks to Mark Carney!
It is time to get involved. It is time to become educated about what is going on in Ottawa. The media won't tell you what the government wants to keep hidden from you; this is by design. You have to find your own sources of information and actively seek that information out or you will be intentionally left in the dark. It is time for you to start contacting your MP, especially if they are a Liberal or a Bloc MP, but even the NDP should be told to fight against this tooth and nail.
There are those who will think that this is all conspiracy theory. It is not. The left and the media have labelled it as such in order to shame you into disbelieving what I am telling you. You don't want to be seen as a tin foil hat wearing nut job, but this is reality. Please watch the video above to see for yourself the things that are being done in committee to push this agenda through. You can also watch this interview that Jasmine Laine has recently done with Desiree Fixler, who used to work with Mark Carney and the World Economic Forum. She used to believe the Climate Emergency hoax and push for all the things that Mark Carney and his ilk are currently pushing for, but she saw the damage that was being done to societies and she saw behind the curtain of the false information that people have been fed. She has decided that she has to spend her time fighting against what she used to fight for because she has seen where it is heading and she recognizes that it these efforts are not to save the planet but to exert control over the people and to enrich the ones who are forcing it upon us.
This is a Satanic agenda. This is the opening salvo of Satan's efforts to establish the government of the Antichrist. We know that it has to happen at some time; the Bible tells us that much, but as Believers we are called to stand against it and oppose it at all costs. Right now the cost is contacting your MP and vehemently making them aware that their political career will be over if they support this bill as well as encouraging others to do the same; the future cost will be imprisonment and potentially death for insurrection against The Party. This is not a game; this is real life, and real life is about to change in ways that most Canadians have never expected.
