The Spiritual Realm is Real and Active

   I recently had an interaction with someone to whom I am related that left an unwelcome impact on me. This person is a cousin of mine with whom I have contact anywhere from one to two or three times a year. I have always initiated contact, but I respect him for who he is and what he has accomplished. He has done very well for himself in his chosen field and I know that he has helped others, in particular a sibling of his, with the wealth that he has amassed. I suspect, given the field that he is in and my knowledge of it, that he carries a not insignificant debt load, but the fact that he can carry that debt is a testament to his earning capacity. This all comes into play due to the nature of our latest interaction.     Once Saved, Always Saved is a Theological Myth – Part Three  In my last couple of articles, I have spent a lot of time laying out the doctrine of Once Saved, Always Saved (OSAS), how it aligns with the despised doctrine of the Nicolaitans of the first century church and what the arguments and Scriptures are that are used in defence of this doctrine. At long last, I am able to get to how the Scriptures actually refute this doctrine. In fact, the Scriptures absolutely destroy the notion of this doctrine.  I will re-iterate again that there will be those who support OSAS that will argue against all that I have written so far, stating that those people who persist in many of the evils that are mentioned in the description of the Nicolaitan belief system were never actually followers of Christ, because real followers of Christ would not act in those ways. Predestination Does Not Override Free Will

  There are a few things in Scripture that people have a hard time wrapping their minds around. A couple of these things are the nature of the Trinity of God and the notion of predestination. For some reason, I have never really had to wrestle with these things, so I hope that I can shed some light on one of these in this article; that one being the matter of predestination. I think this is a fitting time for me to delve into this since my last article, " Do We Go To Heaven When We Die ?", includes a section wherein I explain my understanding of God's relationship with time. I said that God is outside of and above time, and He views the entire timeline of earth's history at any and every moment, the same way we will see a string that we lay out on a table top.
