 I introduced this topic in my last post, which you can read here if you want to. I suggest that you do so if you haven't already just so you can follow my full line of thought in this series. I think what this series is going to point out is that, in this world of preached (though seldom actually enacted) tolerance, there is a belief that every religion points and leads to the same God. This is not the case. In this series of articles, I am going to tackle how the two largest world religions, Roman Catholicism and Islam, are both contrary to the beliefs that I hold to as they are presented in the Bible, which I will simplify to merely call Protestantism.  I am staunchly Christian. I hope that this is evident in my life through my words and my deeds. I am really beginning to wonder about Canada at this point. I am wondering how far we have slipped into the authoritarian goals that Mark Carney seems to desire so intently. As I have watched our political landscape over the last two or three weeks, I am really beginning to wonder if the fictional "1984" has finally arrived in Canada in 2026 with the Mark Carney government. I have actually recently received a copy of George Orwell's "1984", and I'm a little over two thirds of the way through reading it, and I see too many, let's call them coincidences, in what I read in that book and what I am seeing and hearing from our government, delivered to us by the legacy media. I have been watching the manoeuvrings of the Mark Carney government as of late as well as the media reporting of those manoeuvrings, and I have to point some things out. It was around a year ago when Mark Carney was rushed onto the Canadian political stage in order to draw attention away from the slithering retreat of his political predecessor Justin Trudeau. Canada was duped with the old bait and switch. The legacy media conjured up a hype train for Mark Carney that made Canadians think that he was a genius global banker and CEO and that Mark Carney was going to be the saviour of the Canadian dream.    I am going to be fully honest and transparent with you, my readers. I have been struggling lately. Those of you who have been regular readers of my articles (I suspect that there are very few of those) will know that I have been called of God to not work for several years already. There have been times when I have had the opportunity to undertake some labour for somebody, but I have never requested payment for that work. I am not receiving any government handouts, I am not visiting food banks and nobody has been supporting me with regular financial contributions. God has been acting in various different ways to meet the needs of myself and my family. I know that I should be grateful for God's provision, and I most definitely am grateful; most people don't get to live under the direct provision of God's hand. In my latest article , I brought to your attention the ways in which our scientists, bureaucrats and the government in general are messing around and playing God with our meat supply. I am not at all interested in eating Frankenmeat, and the fact that the governing bodies seem to think that it's okay to place this meat product on store shelves without specific labelling to differentiate it from naturally bred and grown meat is beyond acceptable. But as I pointed out, this is all likely an effort to slowly introduce us to alternate meat sources without causing us to revolt against them. At the end of that article I mentioned that there is something that you can do to protect yourself from these fake foods in situations where you may not have any control over what is served to you, be that at a friend's house or a restaurant.
